Vitaly was in Yekaterinburg, in 1995. In 2013, he graduated from the Ural State Music College (class of Professor Sergey Beloglazov). In 2013-2015, he became a student of the Tchaikovsky Moscow State Conservatory (class of Professor Vera Gornostaeva, the People’s Artist of Russia), since 2016 - class of Professor Eliso Virsaladze, People’s Artist of Russia).
Laureate of international competitions:
2007 – laureate of the II Prize at the VII Igumnov International Competition of Young Musicians (Lipetsk).
2011 – winner of the first prizes in the categories “Piano Solo” and “Chamber Orchestra” of the Young Musician International Competition "Citta di Barletta” (Italy).
2013 – winner of a special prize for "Performance of a virtuoso composition" at the XII Youth Delphic Games of Russia (Novosibirsk).
2014 - the diploma holder at the International Piano Competition "Minsk-2014".
2017 - the winner and the Audience Award holder at the XXVI Epinal International Piano Competition (France).
Vitaly Starikov appeared many times with the Ural Symphony Orchestra as well as gives concerts in Moscow and Yekaterinburg.
He participated in the master-classes of Sergey Malcev and Carlo Levi Minci.
In 2012, he took part in the concert program of the cycle “Young Interpreters of Russia” organized by the Saint-Petersburg Music House.
Since then, the pianist has been regularly involved in the Saint-Petersburg Music House programs.
