Alexander was born in Leningrad in 1985. At first he learned in the Special Music School (College) of the St. Petersburg Conservatory (class of Lyubov Pevzner, then class of Luybov Rudova). Since 2003, he studied at the Hanover University of Music, Drama and Media (Germany), in the class of People's Artist of the USSR professor Vladimir Krainev, Since 2005 studied at the St. Petersburg State Rimsky-Korsakov Conservatory ( class of Honored Artist of the Russian Federation professor Leonid Zaychik), wherefrom he graduated in 2010 and pursued his post-graduate studies at St. Petersburg Conservatory, at class of the same Professor.
Laureate of the international competitions:
2002 - the 1st Prize two special prizes for the best performance of Chopin's nocturne and pieces of the 20th century of the Vladimir Krainev International Competition for Young Pianists in (Kharkiv, Ukraine).
2006 - the 4th prize in the 22th international competition Valsesia Musica (Italy);
2007 - the 2nd Prize and Audience Prize in the Anton Rubinstein Competition (Dresden)
2010 - the 2nd Prize at the First All-Russian Music Competition.
Alexander took part in masterclasses by many prominent musicians: Naum Shtarkman, Vladimir Krainev, Mikhail Pletnev, Hans Leygraf and many others. He is diploma holder of the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation (2003).
In 2003, he was invited to participate in a concert of laureates of international youth competitions in Warsaw, which was broadcasted live in many European countries.
He performed with famous orchestras, such as St. Petersburg State Capella Symphony Orchestra, Academic Symphony Orchestra of the Moscow Philharmonic Orchestra, The National Symphony Orchestra of Ukraine, Polish National Radio Symphony Orchestra, The Orchestra Sinfonica di Milano Giuseppe Verdi, Orquesta de la ciudad de los Reyes.
From 1999 to 2003, his performances in Munich were repeatedly recorded by the Bavarian Radio. In 2008, he recorded his first CD in Switzerland, together with violinist Sergey Dogadin.
In 2008, for the very first time he toured with solo concerts in South America, and in China in 2009.
