The Saint-Petersburg Music House introduces the annual Project –"The Embassy of Musical Mastery" which is known from 2012 and covers both the Russia regions and different countries accross the world. The Project includes the visiting sessions of master-classes of the leading musicians in the six Russian regions and tours of the successful young soloists in the Russia Centers of Science and Culture abroad. The concert part of the Project is arranged together with Rossotrudnichestvo.
Due to restrictions on holding public and educational events, some educational and concert events of " Embassy of Musical Mastery" project (open master classes in Russian educational institutions and performances at foreign venues of Rossotrudnichestvo) have been moved to the online project "Embassy of Musical Mastery ONLINE" since may 2020.
In 2015, geography of the concerts has significantly extended. Such countries as Portugal, Hungary, Slovakia, China, Malaysia, Laos, Bangladesh, the USA, Lithuania, Israel, Palestine, Morocco, India, United Kingdom, Brazil, and Argentina have jointed to the states where Rossotrudnichestvo traditionally welcomes young soloists from the Saint-Petersburg Music House. Also, the musicians will play in the other places all over of the world. In 2015 Master Classes of this project were held at the Petrozavodsk Conservatory and for the participants of workshop shifts at the Educational Centre “Sirius” for gifted children of the Talent and Success Foundation in Sochi.
The countries of Europe, Asia and North America opened their "Embassy of Musical Mastery" and 60 concerts took place in 22 counrtries in 2016. Young soloists performed at Bucharest, Tokyo, Israeli Safed, Indian Chennai and Portuguese Lagoa. Record number of master classes was held in the Russian regions. Classes for young soloists took place in Russian higher and secondary music schools at Veliky Novgorod, Bryansk, Vladivostok, Kaliningrad, Ryazan, Yekaterinburg (Sverdlovsk Music College and Ural Music College), Krasnoyarsk, Simferopol, Rostov-on-Don (Rostov Conservatory, Rostov College of Arts).
"Embassy of Musical Mastery" peformed at already familiar venues abroad and on new ones in 2017-2018. concerts in 27 countries were scheduled for 2017 . Under this project of Music House and Rossotrudnichestvo for the first time will be organized performances of young soloists in Baku, Tashkent, Ashgabat, Chisinau, Alma-Ata, Israeli Ashdod, Myanmar, Macedonia and Serbia.
In 2019, 79 Embassy of Musical Mastery concerts were held again under the support of the permanent partners of St.Petersburg Music House: Rossotrudnichestvo and diplomatic institutions of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation in 35 countries.
The guest workshops were held at the Ufa Institute of Arts at the Kirov College of Arts and Norilsk College of Arts, Ural College of Music, the Petrozavodsk Conservatory, the Rostov Conservatory, the Rostropovich Orenburg Institute of Arts, at the Petrozavodsk College of Music and the Vladimir Regional College of Music, according to their requests. For the first time in the framework of international cooperation, visiting master classes were held in Nur-Sultan (former Astana, Republic of Kazakhstan).
In 2020, the St.Petersburg Music House soloists are scheduled to tour to 25 countries under the project “Embassy of Musical Mastery”, but the schedule of concerts is adjusted to take into account the threat of coronavirus spreading.
The visiting workshop season started at the Cheboksary Music College and Volgograd Conservatory, workshops are scheduled at the Borisoglebsk Music College and Sverdlovsk Music College. In the fall, “Embassy of Musical Mastery” workshops will also be held at the Magnitogorsk Conservatory and the Voronezh Institute of Arts, the College of Arts of the Komi Republic.
In 2021, the Embassy of Musical Mastery travelling master classes were held at the Sverdlovsk Tchaikovsky Music College, Magnitogorsk State Conservatory, Voronezh Institute of Arts, Surgut College of Music, and are taking place at Novomoskovsk College of Music (Tula region) and the College of the Tyumen Institute of Arts. The master classes at the Borisoglebsk College of Music have been postponed until 2022. The project will continue despite strict restrictions due to coronavirus and limited public access.
In 2022, the Embassy of Musical Mastery travelled to the Samara College of Music, the Borisoglebsk College of Music, the Kirov College of Music Art and the Volgograd Conservatory.
