He was born in Moscow, 1989. In 2003 he graduated at the Moscow City Genssin Children's Music School in Recorder Flute Class, than Oboe Class (Class of Carolina Nekrasova, Class of Viktor Nosyrev). From 2004 to 2008 he studied at the Central Music School of Moscow State Tchaikovsky Conservatory in Oboe Specialty (Class of Professor Gennady Kerentsev, Honored Artist of the Russian Federation Olga Tomilova).
From 2012 to 2014 he studied at the Munich Philharmonia Academy (Class of Marie-Louise Moderzon). He is the Graduate of Music Higher School in Munich (Class of Professor Francois Leleuet). In 2017 he completed the postgraduate education in the class of the same teacher.

Fellow of the funds "New Names", "Russian Performing Arts", "Live Music Now". He took part in festivals in Gstaad, Salon-de-Provence, Mantua and on the island of Rügen.
He took part in master classes of Maurice Burg, Hansjerg Schellenberger, Jacques Tyss, David Walter, Jerome Gishart, Klaus Becker, Nick Deutsch and Ingo Goritsky.
Andrey Godik performed in the best Moscow music halls as well as in such world famous halls as Gasteig Philharmonie and Herkulessaal in Munich, Laeiszhalle in Hamburg, Palaca Grand Hall in Bucharest. He performed under the baton of such conductors as L. Maazel, K. Nagano, G. Blumstedt, I. Metzmaher, J. Nott, K. Eshenbach, G. Dudamel and S. Bychkov.
He was the soloist of "Komische Oper" Theater Orchestra in Berlin and the Opera Theater in Braunschweig. He is currently the soloist of Bamberg Symphony Orchestra, as well as Gstaad Festival Orchestra in Switzerland.
