Arina Shabanova was born in 2009 in the town of Pushkin (Saint Petersburg). She studied at Children’s Music School No. 45 in the Pushkin District (class of Yuri Oskin). Since 2024, she has been enrolled at the Rimsky-Korsakov Saint Petersburg Music College, where she studies with Associate Professor Grigory Maliyev.
She is a prizewinner of international competitions:
2021
- Laureate of the First Prize and recipient of the Audience Choice Award at the International Competition of Instrumental and Vocal Art Creative Success (Kazan).
- Laureate of the Third Prize at the 12th International Competition of Contemporary Sacred and Polyphonic Music Polyphonica 2021 (Saint Petersburg).
- Laureate of the Third Prize at the 6th International Competition for Performers on Wind and Percussion Instruments Northern Rhapsody (Cherepovets).
2025
- Laureate of the First Prize at the 2nd International Competition for Performers on Wind and Percussion Instruments named after I. I. Bobrovsky (Novosibirsk).
- Laureate of the Second Prize at the 8th International Competition for Performers on Wind and Percussion Instruments Northern Rhapsody (Cherepovets).
She has taken part in creative sessions at the Sirius Educational Center (class of Associate Professor Grigory Maliyev) (2023, 2025).
She has participated in the programs of the Saint Petersburg Music House since 2025.
