St. Petersburg Music House will congratulate foreign compatriots in Slovakia
June 15, Thursday Concert of Series "Embassy of Musical Mastery" will celebrate the Russia Day in Slovakia. This time, St. Petersburg Music House will present young virtuosos of violin and piano: The Laureates of International Competitions violinist Stepan Starikov and pianist Vitaly Starikov will perform at the Russian Center of Science and Culture in Bratislava.
In honor of this holiday will sound the Russian music: elegiac Tchaikovsky`s Reflections from cycle "Memory of a Dear Place", dynamic Rachmaninoff`s Third Etudes-Tableaux and virtuosic Prokofiev`s Etudes. Dramatic contrast to the concert progam will made Ysaÿ's First Violin Sonata, expressive Beethoven's Eleventh Piano Sonata and minimalist piece of American Adams "Gate of China". Musical miniatures with "colorful" titles will support the festive mood: Henry Wilhelm Ernst`s "The Last Rose of Summer" and Kreisler`s "Beautiful Rosemary".
Stepan Starikov, 24 years old, was born in Kazan. The Graduate of Moscow Conservatory (Class of the People's Artist of Russia, Professor Sergei Girshchenko). In 2017 he became the Diploma Holder of International Heifetz Competition (Lithuania) and the Laureate of International Henri Marteau Competition (Germany). The Member of Music House Programs since 2017.
Vitaly Starikov, 22 years old, was born in Yekaterinburg. The Student of Moscow Conservatory (Class of the People's Artist of Russia, Professor Eliso Virsaladze). The Laureate of International Competition in Épinal (France, 2017). The Member of Music House Programs since 2012.

"Embassy of Musical Mastery" is the unique project of St. Petersburg Music House and Rossotrudnichestvo, which has been held since 2012 and includes visiting meet-the-artist events of leading Russian musicians, as well as tours of young soloists at Russian Centers of Science and Culture in foreign countries.
