Emiliya Leshcheva, born in 2006 in Ivanovo, graduated from the Children's Music School No. 3, where she studied under Vera Tylman. In 2020, she began studying at the Secondary Special Music School of the N. A. Rimsky-Korsakov Saint Petersburg Conservatory, where she studied under Professor Andrey Bolshiyanov. Since 2023, she has been a student at the Jazz Academy in Moscow, studying under teacher Vladimir Koznov.
She has received the following awards at international and national competitions:
In 2021, she received the first prize at the International Competition "Fanfare of the Black Earth" (Voronezh).
In 2023, she received the third degree diploma at the All-Russian Competition "Nevsky Wind" (Saint Petersburg).
She has participated in masterclasses with Nahikari Oloritz, Sergey Kolesov, Nikita Zimin, Vitaly Vatuli, and Leonid Drutin.
She is a scholarship recipient of the "New Names" Foundation, a participant in the concert programs of the V. Spivakov Foundation, and a participant in creative sessions at the Sirius Educational Center.
Emiliya is actively engaged in concert performances as a soloist and as a member of the saxophone quartet of the Jazz Academy. She has performed in the concert halls of the Saint Petersburg Philharmonia, the Saint Petersburg Conservatory, various venues in Moscow, and as part of the "Palaces of St. Petersburg" project. She was also a participant in the International Festival "Andorra Sax Fest" (Andorra).
She was a diploma winner at the "First All-Russian Saxophonists Competition" (Moscow, 2024).
