German Buller was born in 2003 in the city of Severouralsk, Sverdlovsk region. He was enrolled at the N.A. Rimsky-Korsakov Saint Petersburg Music School, studying under the guidance of teacher Denis Bystrov. Since 2022, he has been continuing his education as a student at the N.A. Rimsky-Korsakov Saint Petersburg State Conservatory, still under the same teacher.
He is currently an artist with the Academic Symphony Orchestra of the Saint Petersburg Philharmonic, where he plays the English horn.

2019
- The II prize in the III Open competition of young performers on orchestral instruments named after M.K. Oginsky (held in Belarus, Molodechno).
2020
- The II prize in the IX International competition of solo musicians, performers on wind and percussion instruments "Silver Sounds" (Petrozavodsk).
2022
- The I prize in the II International competition of performers on woodwind musical instruments "Woodwind Brass Premium-2022" (remote).
2023
- The I prize in the International youth online music competition dedicated to I.F. Stravinsky (Saint Petersburg).
- The II prize in the International online music competition dedicated to the 150th anniversary of S.V. Rachmaninoff (Saint Petersburg Conservatory).
- The II prize in the VIII International competition of young performers on wind and percussion instruments "Siberian Music Assemblies" (Novosibirsk Special Music School).
German has also participated in master classes held by Yuri Nefyodov, Alexey Balashov, Alexey Konoplyannikov, Pavel Sokolov, Alexander Bykov, Sergey Tumarkin, Jacques-Christophe Gajo, and Washington Barella.
He has taken part in tours with the school's Youth Symphony Orchestra named after A. Paulavichyus in Lithuania and Latvia (2019) and attended the summer school of the Norges Musikkorps Forbund in Norway, specifically in Musheen, in 2019. Additionally, he has participated in the sessions of the Volga Youth Symphony Orchestra (2021, 2022) and is a member of the All-Russian Youth Symphony Orchestra (2022-2024). Furthermore, he has been involved in Yuri Bashmet's Academy through the "Tavrida.ART" project (2023).
German actively participates in concert performances and has collaborated with leading symphony orchestras. He has performed as a soloist with the Academic Symphony Orchestra of the Saint Petersburg Philharmonic, the chamber orchestra of the Saint Petersburg Conservatory, and the Vladimir Governor's Symphony Orchestra.
