Ivan Dobrorodny was born in 2009 in Yekaterinburg. He began studying the piano with the teacher Valeria Ivanova. Since 2024, he has been a student of the Ural Special Music School, where he studies in the class of Professor Alexei Bukreev.

2023
- Third Prize winner at the International Competition for Young Performing Musicians Territory of Creativity (Moscow)
2024
- Third Prize winner at the International Competition for Young Pianists named after M. N. Zhirkov (Moscow)
2025
- Second Prize winner at the International Piano Competition in memory of Vera Lotar-Shevchenko (Yekaterinburg)
He has taken part in master classes with Philipp Kopachevsky, Boris Berezovsky, Elmar Gasanov, Natalia Bogdanova, Maxim Filippov, and Alexander Strukov.
He is a scholarship holder of the Iveta Voronova New Names Charitable Foundation (2025).
He has participated in concert programs of the Vladimir Spivakov International Charitable Foundation and maintains an active concert career. He has experience both in solo recitals and in performances with orchestras, including the Ural Youth Symphony Orchestra under the direction of Alexei Dorkin at the Sverdlovsk State Academic Philharmonia, and the B-A-C-H Chamber Orchestra under the direction of Nikolai Usenko at the City House of Music (Yekaterinburg).
