Ivan Zabegin (bassoon)

Born in the city of Tolyatti in 2002, Ivan Zabegin underwent his education at the Tchaikovsky Academic Music College at the Moscow State Conservatory, studying under the guidance of Valery Popov, a People's Artist of the RSFSR and professor. Since 2021, he has been a student at the Moscow State Conservatory named after P.I. Tchaikovsky, continuing his studies under the same instructor. Starting from 2022, Zabegin became a member of the bassoon group in the Concert Symphony Orchestra conducted by A.A. Levin.
  
Laureate of the competitions

 2020:

• Finalist of the III  All-Russian Competition for Wind Instruments. 
• The winner of the All-Russian Competition "Young Talents of Russia."

2023:

• The first place in the International Competition "Territory of Creativity" at the Moscow State Conservatory named after P.I. Tchaikovsky.

 
 Since 2021, Zabegin has been a recipient of the grant awarded by the President of the Russian Federation.
