Kirill Seroshtan was born in 2008 in the city of Apatity in the Murmansk Region. From 2014 to 2020 he studied at the Children’s School of Arts in Apatity (class of the teacher Gennady Bykov). Since 2021 he has been a student of the Saint Petersburg Music Lyceum (class of the laureate of the Saint Petersburg Government Prize, teacher Kirill Lobikov).
He is a laureate of numerous all-Russian and international competitions:
2020 – Laureate of the Second Prize at the 9th International Competition for Solo Musicians, Performers on Wind and Percussion Instruments Silver Sounds (Petrozavodsk);
2021 – Laureate of the Second Prize at the 12th International Competition of Performers of Sacred Music RE-LIGO (Saint Petersburg);
2022 – Laureate of the Second Prize at the 6th International Competition of Musical Art named after Alexander Glazunov (Petrozavodsk);
2023 – Laureate of the Second Prize at the 5th All-Russian Competition of Performing Arts Time of Music (Cherepovets);
2024 – Laureate of the First Prize at the 7th Saint Petersburg Open Competition for Young Performers on Wind and Percussion Instruments;
2025 – Laureate of the Second Prize at the 8th International Competition for Performers on Wind and Percussion Instruments Northern Rhapsody (Cherepovets).
He participated in the creative session of the Sirius Educational Center in the class of Maxim Ignatiev (2022). He is the recipient of the Prize of the Administration of the city of Apatity in the Murmansk Region awarded to gifted children For High Achievements in the Field of the Arts (2020). He is also the recipient of the Government of Saint Petersburg Prize Young Talents (2025).
He has performed both as a soloist and as a member of a trombone quartet in such Saint Petersburg concert venues as the Small Hall of the Academic Capella and the Stravinsky Foyer of the Mariinsky Theatre.
