The partnership of the St. Petersburg music house and the Moscow Philharmonic began in 2009. Soloists of the St. Petersburg music house regularly participate in the Philharmonic subscriptions, performing in the Concert hall named after P. I. Tchaikovsky and in Conservatory Grand hall.
Moscow Philharmonic is one of the internationally acclaimed concert organizations that meets the highest standards of professionalism and carefully preserves the performing traditions. One of the most important tasks of the Philharmonic is search and support of young talented performers.
Philharmonic subscriptions is a recognized international practice of organizing the concert life. Today the subscription concerts of the Moscow Philharmonic give the opportunity to hear the best contemporary international artists and pack the full house.
Concert hall named after P. I. Tchaikovsky
The concert hall named after Tchaikovsky is more than 70 years old. At the beginning of the XXI century the hall became to be positioned as the main concert hall of the Moscow Philharmonic. It takes about 300 concerts a year which are attended by over 350 thousand of Moscowites and visitors of capital (hall capacity is 1505 places).
