Nikita Domolokov was born in the year 2003 in the city of Saint Petersburg. In 2023, he graduated from the Saint Petersburg Music College named after Nikolai Andreyevich Rimsky-Korsakov, where he studied under the instruction of teacher Rostislav Yakovlev. Since the year 2023, he has been a student at the Saint Petersburg State Conservatory named after Nikolai Andreyevich Rimsky-Korsakov, continuing his studies under the same teacher.
He has received awards at international and national competitions:
In 2021, he was awarded the Second Prize at the V Youth Double Bass Competition named after Sergei Koussevitzky.
In 2022, he was awarded the Second Prize at the VI Youth Double Bass Competition named after Sergei Koussevitzky.
In 2023, he was awarded the Second Prize at the IX Pskov Open (International) Competition for Young Performers dedicated to Modest Petrovich Mussorgsky and Nikolai Andreyevich Rimsky-Korsakov.
In 2024, he was awarded the Second Prize at the Music Competition dedicated to Igor Fyodorovich Stravinsky.
Since 2024, he has been a member of the Saint Petersburg Mussorgsky State Academic Opera and Ballet Theatre Orchestra.
Since 2024, he has also been a member of the All-Russian Youth Symphony Orchestra.
He participated in the I All-Russian Summer Orchestral School of Contemporary Music “MolOt-School” (2023), as well as in the International Art Residency “The Golden Cockerel” (2023).
He has collaborated with the orchestra of the State Academic Capella and with the Youth Chamber Orchestra of the Merited Collective of Russia.
