Nikita was born in Vyatskie Polyany, Kirov region in 1989. He started his music studies with wind and percussion instruments at a children's music school in 1997. In 2004, he entered the Balakirev Nizhny Novgorod College of Music in the class of V. Baldina. After graduating from college with honours, in 2008 he continued his education at the Glinka Nizhny Novgorod Conservatoire in the class of the senior lecturer Olga Popova.

2007: the 2nd prize for performing solo and the 3rd prize for performing in an ensemble in the International Woodwinds Competition “Art of the 21st Century” (Kiev),
2009: the 2nd prize at the Nesterov Russian National Open Woodwinds Competition (Nizhny Novgorod).
2010: - the 1st Prize in the Russian national woodwind and percussion competition “Ural fanfares” (Magnitogorsk).
2010: the 1st Prize at the International Wind Music Festival “In Tchaikovsky's Motherland” (Izhevsk, 2010).
2010: He holds a diploma at the 1st Independent International Internet Competition for Woodwinds and Percussion (Kazan).
2011: He also won the 7th prize in the category “For the best performance of music written after 1950” at the 22nd Haverhill Sinfonia Soloist Competition (Haverhill, UK).
During his college studies, he played in the Petropavlovsky’s Big Band and the V. Baldin’s Saxophone Quartet. He participates in numerous art projects in Nizhny Novgorod and other Russian cities. He works with leading musical ensembles of Nizhny Novgorod. Since 2007, N. Naymushin has been working as an artist with the Nizhny Novgorod Provincial Orchestra.
