April 26 soloists of the St Petersburg Music House - on the Brucknerhaus stage
April 26, Tuesday at 7.30 p.m. St Petersburg Music House invites to Linz, wherein under the project "Russian Tuesdays" on the Brucknerhaus stage the soloists of the Music House - the laureates of international competitions Ivan Sendetckii (cello) and Andrei Telkov (piano).
This evening will open the Rachmaninoff Cello Sonata, whose birthday announces the April for music lovers. Composition is rightly considered to be one of the best works of the composer and pianist Konstantin Igumnov called third part of this Sonata as "one of the Rachmaninoff lyricism peaks". In honour of Sergei Prokofiev's 125th Anniversary widely celebrated on 23 April will be heard: fragments from the ballet "Cinderella" and monumental opera"War and Peace", light and bright Prelude from "Ten Pieces for Piano" and incredibly difficult Toccata in D Minor.
"Gypsy Airs" of the Spaniard Pablo Sarasate will amaze listeners with rich melodies and rhythms as swirl of colours, combining Hungarian and Gypsy folklore. The audience will also hear the music of their countryman - virtuoso Haydn`s Piano Sonate and "Reflections in Water" from the famous Impressionist series "Images" by Claude Debussy.
Ivan Sendetckii (19 years old). Born in St. Petersburg. Graduate of the St. Petersburg Conservatory (Class of professor Anatoly Nikitin). Winner of Knushevitsky International Competition (Saratov, 2014). Laureate of the III prize of Antonio Janigro International Cello Competition in Zagreb (Croatia, 2016). Member of St. Petersburg Music House Program since 2012.
Andrei Telkov (24 years old). Born in Voronezh. Postgraduate Student of the St. Petersburg Conservatory (Class of Honored Artist of Russia, professor Alexander Sandler). Laureate of Schumann International Competition (Germany, 2012). Member of St. Petersburg Music House Program since 2011.

"Russian Tuesdays" — a joint project of the St Petersburg Music House and Concert Center Brucknerhaus, named in honor of the eminent Austrian composer Anton Bruckner. The final concert of this series will be held on March 24, 2016 on the Brucknerhaus stage with a solo concert of the laureate of the Tchaikovsky International Competition (Moscow, 2015) pianist Sergey Redkin.
