Pavel Milyukov (violin)

Pavel was born 1984 in Perm (Ural region of Russia). He studied in The Moscow State Tchaikovsky Conservatory in the class of People's Artist of Russia, professor Vladimir Ivanov, 2009-2012 – postgraduate in the same place. Currently, he studied in the class of Boris Kuschnir at the University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna (Austria). Since 2016, he teaches at the Moscow Conservatory.

• Winner of the International Paganini Violin Competition (Moscow)

• Grand Prix of the I International violin competition in Astana (Kazakhstan)
• II prize at the II International David Oystrakh Violin Competition (Moscow)
• Winner of the “Vibrarte” international competition in Paris (as participant of the trio “Con Spirito”)

2010

• III prize at the All-Russian Music  Competition (Moscow)

2012

• II prize at the VIII Seoul International Music Competition (South Korea)
• Winner of the VIII Aram Khachaturian International competition (Armenia).

2015

• III Prize at the XV International Tchaikovsky Competition (Moscow)

 
In 2008, 2009 Pavel became a grant holder of St. Petersburg Music House and Bank «ROSSIYA»
 
Has toured throughout Russia and abroad. He performs in the main concert halls of Russia like Tchaikovsky concert hall, Mariinsky concert hall, St. Petersburg and Moscow Philharmonic. He performed with leading orchestras of Russia
 
He collaborated with conductors Valery Gergiev, Vladimir Fedoseev, Yury Simonov, Maxim Fedotov, Mikhail Pletnev, Vasily Petrenko, Robert Canetti.
 
Since 2012 he is a soloist of Moscow state Philharmonic.
 
Soloist of the St. Petersburg Music House since 2008.
