Armen was born in Razdan (Republic of Armenia) in 1984. He is a student of the Tchaikovsky Moscow State Conservatory (class of Associate Professor Roman Balashov and the chamber ensemble class by I. Kandinskaya).
2010 - laureate of the 6th Yuri Bashmet International Viola Competition.
He plays an instrument made by the Italian master of the mid-18th century Petruss Montegazzi, provided by the State Collection of Unique Instruments “ROSIZO”.
Armen actively participates in concerts and festivals in Russian and foreign cities.
