Irina was born in Komsomolsk-on-Amur city (Russian Far East) in 1986. Since 2001, she has studied at the Novosibirsk Specialized Music School (class of Honoured Cultural Worker of the Russian Federation Professor Yuri Mazchenko). She is currently a student at the Moscow State Conservatoire (class of professor Roman Balashov).
Laureate of international competitions:
the 1st prize in the Gnesins International Competition of Chamber Ensembles (Novomoskovsk),
the 1st prize at the International Competition “Hope” (Krasnoyarsk),
2010 - the 2nd prize at the 6th Yuri Bashmet International Viola Competition (Moscow);
2011 - 1st prize in the category “Chamber Ensemble” at the International Competition “Muses of the World” (Moscow, 2011).
Irina holds fellowships of the Russian Ministry of Culture (2003) and the Russian Performing Arts Foundation (2004). Since 2007 she is soloist and concertmaster of the viola group at the Eduard Grach Chamber Orchestra “Moscovia”.
