Broadcasts of concerts of the St.Petersburg Music House Summer Academy:
On September 7, Monday, there will be a broadcast of fragments of the concert “Woodwind & Brass Parade”. The program will include transcriptions of pieces by Beethoven, Mussorgsky, Tchaikovsky for trombone and bassoon performed by participants of master classes Kirill Sokolov (bassoon) and Vladimir Shkolnik (trombone).
On September 8, Tuesday, “Masterpieces of Violin Music” will be performed by the People's Artist of Russia, Professor Mikhail Gantvarg’s trainees at the Music House Summer Academy. The program includes Sibelius Violin Concerto, Wieniawski Variations on an Original Theme and melodies from Rimsky-Korsakov “The Golden Cockerel”
On September 10, Thursday, the audience of the St.Petersburg Music House YouTube channel will enjoy the “Voice of the Cello”, which sounded in “Nizhnyaya Oreanda”. The trainees of the People's Artist of Russia, Professor Sergei Roldugin and the maestro himself will perform Haydn, Schubert, Dvořák and Glazunov.
On September 11, Friday, piano lovers will be able to enjoy an online performance of the winner of the International Tchaikovsky Competition Miroslav Kultyshev and his students. “The Piano Marathon” will include pieces by Brahms, Tchaikovsky and a Sonata by Prokofiev.
On September 14, Monday, there will be a broadcast of the concert “The Magic Flute”. Students of a Mariinsky Theatre soloist, associate professor Denis Lupachev, will demonstrate their skills obtained from their mentor. The performance will include French composers’ music. The maestro himself will perform the fantasy “Northern Nightingale” on the melodies of the famous Alyabiev's romance.
On September 15, Tuesday the participants of master classes of the Honored Artist of Russia, Professor Vyacheslav Prokopov will meet in a “brass battle” on trumpets. “The Trumpet Parade” will feature melodies from ballets and operas, music by Haydn, Brandt and contemporary composers.
On September 17, Thursday, the young pianists, students of the Honored Artist of the RSFSR, Professor Alexander Mndoyants, will perform at “The Piano Marathon”. The program will feature the music of the romanticists Liszt, Chopin, Rachmaninoff, Scriabin, as well as Gershwin's jazz preludes and March-Galop for piano 8 hands.
On September 18, Friday, the final concert of the 4th St.Petersburg Music House Summer Academy will be broadcasted: “The Woodwind & Brass Parade”. Participants of the master classes provided by professors of the Moscow Conservatory Evgeny Petrov (clarinet) and Alexey Utkin (oboe) will perform Schumann, Rimsky-Korsakov, Rachmaninoff, Poulenc and other composers.
