Alexander Zaytsev was born in 2001 in the city of Salavat, Republic of Bashkortostan. Since 2020, he has been a student at the Saint Petersburg State Conservatory, studying under the guidance of Maria Fedotova, an Honored Artist of Russia and a soloist at the Mariinsky Theatre. Starting in 2022, he has also been an artist with the Symphony Orchestra of the State Academic Capella of Saint Petersburg.

- The 1st prize at the II All-Russian Festival-Competition "Magic of Sound" in Ufa
- The 2nd prize at the All-Russian Competition "Young Talents of Russia" in Moscow
- The 1st prize at the VI International Competition of Young Classical Performers In Baku, Azerbaijan
2021
- The 1st prize at the International Competition of Wind and Percussion Instrument Performers in Ufa
2022
- The 2nd prize at the International Competition of Musical Arts named after A.K. Glazunov in Petrozavodsk
Alexander was a scholarship recipient of the International Charitable Foundation of Vladimir Spivakov in 2017.
He has also participated in masterclasses led by V. Lyuk, K. Delyafonten, K. Montafia, D. Lupachev, S. Zhuravel, O. Chernyadieva, S. Bubnov, A. Golyshev, and O. Ivusheikova.
In 2021 and 2022, he took part in sessions of the Youth Symphony Orchestra of the Volga Region in Tolyatti.
Since 2023, Alexander has been involved in programs at the Saint Petersburg Music House.
