Born in 2002 in Saint Petersburg, Ekaterina Kuznetsova received her musical education at the Secondary Specialized Music School affiliated with the Saint Petersburg State Conservatory named after N.A. Rimsky-Korsakov, where she studied under the guidance of Professor Andrey Bolshiyarov. Currently, she is a student at the Saint Petersburg State Conservatory, studying under the tutelage of Nikita Lyutikov.
Ekaterina has achieved recognition as a laureate in various youth competitions, including:
2016
- Laureate of the 2nd prize at the 2nd International Competition for Performers of Wooden and Brass Wind Instruments "Fanfares of Petersburg."
2018
- Laureate of the 2nd prize at the Ninth International Competition of Contemporary Sacred and Polyphonic Music "Polyphonica" in Saint Petersburg.
She has taken part in several educational programs, such as: Sirius Educational Center (2018); Academy of Chamber Music in Mürren (Switzerland, 2018); Academy of Chamber Music in Ochsenhausen (Germany, 2022); Diaghilev Festival (Perm, 2022).
Ekaterina is a recipient of a scholarship from the Bruno Frey Foundation in Germany.
