Margarita Andreeva was born in the year 2006 in the city of Saint Petersburg. She graduated from the Saint Petersburg Children’s School of Arts named after Mikhail Ivanovich Glinka, where she studied under the instruction of teacher Olga Gracheva. Since the year 2022, she has been a student at the Mussorgsky Saint Petersburg Music College, where she is studying under the guidance of teacher Pavel Sokolov.
She has received awards at national and international competitions:
2022
- the Grand Prix at the Second International Creative Olympiad Yekaterinburg–Düsseldorf;
- the Second Prize at the I International Youth Music Competition named after Modest Petrovich Mussorgsky (Saint Petersburg);
- the Second Prize at the International Youth Music Competition dedicated to the 140th anniversary of the birth of Igor Fyodorovich Stravinsky;
- the Second Prize at the International Competition of Musical Art named after Alexander Konstantinovich Glazunov (Petrozavodsk).
2023
- the First Prize at the VII International Competition for Performers on Wind and Percussion Instruments “Northern Rhapsody” (Cherepovets);
- the Second Prize at the International Music Competition dedicated to the 150th anniversary of Sergei Vasilyevich Rachmaninoff (Saint Petersburg);
- the Second Prize at the XII International Festival-Competition for Performers on Wind and Percussion Instruments named after Yuri Nikolaevich Dolzhikov (Moscow).
2024
- the First Prize at the VIII All-Russian Competition for Performing Musicians “Music. Talent. Discovery” (Moscow).
She was awarded the “Young Talents” Prize of the Government of Saint Petersburg (2022), and the Second Prize at the All-Russian Competition “Young Talents of Russia” (2020, 2022). She is a scholarship recipient of the “Light of Hope” program of the Vladimir Spivakov International Charity Foundation (2023).
She has participated in masterclasses conducted by Alexey Utkin, Philipp Nodel, Denis Osver, Ivan Podyomov, Alexander Levin, Ilya Novikov, Maxim Orekhov, and Viktor Ukhalin.
Since 2024, she has been a participant in the projects of the Saint Petersburg Music House.
