Born in 2001 in Novorossiysk, Ostap attended the Special Secondary School of Music at the St. Petersburg State Conservatory (class of teacher Grigory Maliyov). Since 2019, he is studying at the St.Petersburg N.A.Rimsky-Korsakov Conservatory in the class of the same tutor.
Ostap has been awarded at various contests:
2018 - the 1st Prize Award of the International Woodwinds, Brass and Drums Competition “Northern Rapsody” (Cherepovets).
2019 - the 2nd Prize Award of the 4th Open Russian Competition “Clarinetino” named after E.A. Titov (Nizhny Novgorod)
He performed at the Concert Hall of the Mariinsky Theater as part of the Music College Symphony Orchestra, the Youth Symphony Orchestra conducted by Yuri Bashmet; at the Small Hall of the St. Petersburg Philharmonic Society - as part of the Music College Symphony Orchestra conducted by Arkady Steinlukht. He toured solo and as part of an ensemble in German cities, the tour was suppoted by the Gartow Foundation.
He is a participant of the winter session of the Youth Symphony Orchestra conducted by Yuri Bashmet at the 11th Winter International Art Festival (2018).
He is a laureate of the competition by the Russian Music Gnessin-Academy and the All-Russian festival-competition of brass bands “Vivat, student!” - as part of the ensemble and orchestra (2018).
Ostap participated in the workshops by Rosemary Brambelow, Julian Milkis, Lajos Rosman.
