Sergey was born in Moscow in 1989. He attended the Children's Music School at the F. Chopin Moscow State College of Performing Arts (class of Honoured Artist of the RSFSR, Professor Lev Naumov), then the college itself (class of Honoured Artist of Russia Andrei Diev since 2006). In 2013 he graduated from the Tchaikovsky Moscow State Conservatory in the class of the same teacher and entered the postgraduate course. He is laureate of youth music competitions.
Нe is a Fellow of the International Charitable Program “New Names” (2002), the A.N. Skryabin Scholarship (2006), and the M. Rostropovich Foundation (2007-2013).
He has participated in Rachmaninoff's music festival “White Lilac”, the Russian-Norwegian Youth Music Festival, the 2nd St. Petersburg International Piano Festival, and the 7th Russian Heinrich Neuhaus Festival, Rheingau Musik Festival. He has participated in cultural programs “Window to Lithuania”, “New Names”, Bach's readings.
