SOLOIST OF MAY 2021. INTERVIEW.
He was born in 1991 in Krasnoyarsk (one of the oldest Siberian cities). From 1998 he studied in the music college of the Krasnoyarsk State Academy of Music and Theater by Galina Boguslavskaya (piano) and Eduard Markaich (improvisation). From 2004 he continued his studies in a secondary special music school of the Saint-Petersburg Conservatory where he attended class of Olga Kurnavina (piano) and Professor of the Petersburg Conservatory Alexander Mnatsakanyan (composition). In 2009-2015 he was a student of the Saint-Petersburg Rimsky-Korsakov State Conservatory (by Professor Alexander Sandler, the honoured artist of Russia, and in 2009-2012 - a class by Professor Alexander Mnatsakanyan), where in 2017 graduated from the post-graduate studies.
Laureate of international competitions: 2004 - laureate of the II prize in the competition «I am a Composer» in the name of V.A. Gavrilin (Saint Petersburg).
2005– laureate of the I prize in the international competition of music in the name of S.V. Rachmaninoff (Saint Petersburg).
2006 – grand prix in the competition of young pianists of the Baltic countries devoted to the works of Frederic Chopin in Estonia.
2006 – laureate of the I prize of young talents “Classics – 2006” in Kazakhstan.
2010 – laureate of the III prize in the VIII International Competition of young pianists in the name of I. Paderevskiy (Poland).
2012 - laureate of the I prize in Тhe Third Helsinki International May Lind piano Competition (Helsinki,Finland).
2013 – winner of VI International Prokofiev competition (Saint-Petersburg).
2015 - laureate of the III Prize at the XV International Tchaikovsky Competition (Moscow)
In 2007 he became a diploma holder in the international competition of young piano players “Step to Mastery” ( Saint-Petersburg), in 2008 - a laureate of the Third Moscow Festival of young pianists in the name of H. Neuhaus (Moscow). In 2006 he became an award owner in the All-Russian competition “Young Talents of Russia” (Moscow). He is a grant holder of the Fund «Palaces of Saint Petersburg». From 2009 he is a grant holder of the Saint-Petersburg Music House and Joint Stock Bank “Russia”.
He gave concerts in Germany (2005, 2006 ), Poland (2006 ), Switzerland (2007). In 2011 under referral of the Saint-Petersburg Music House he passed training in the Fortepiano Academy on the Como lake ( Italy).
In 2008 he became a participant of concert programs «Music Team of Russia» and «River of Talents» organized by the Saint-Petersburg Music House in Saint Petersburg and other Russian regions. He attended master-classes of Andrey Yasinskiy, Nikolay Petrov, Dmitriy Bashkirov.
In 2012 he opened a cycle of “Russian Thursdays” conducted by the Petersburg Music House in Stockholm where Swedish public applauded the young pianist standing after his masterful performance of Sonata No. 8 by Sergei Prokofiev.
