The laureate of Tchaikovsky International Competition will perform with the Beijing Orchestra
On September 2, Saturday, St. Petersburg Music House invites to the capital of China, wherein with the Beijing Symphony Orchestra under the baton of People's Artist of Russia Sergey Roldugin the laureate of XV Tchaikovsky International Competition violinist Pavel Milyukov will perform.
Pyotr Tchaikovsky`s music will be performed at one of the best concert venues in Beijing, National Centre for the Performing Arts. The discerning Chinese audience will enjoy listening one of the most striking composer`s pieces – his Violin Concerto, which was dedicated by the author to violinist Adolph Brodsky. This composition allows to both demonstrate the richness of the sound and soloist’s virtuoso play. Currently, this Concerto is considered the first classical Russian concerto for violin and orchestra.
The guests of the evening will also listen the popular Tchaikovsky`s Serenade for String Orchestra and Prokofiev`s First "Classical" Symphony.
Pavel Milyukov, 33 years old. He was born in Perm. The Graduate of Moscow Conservatory (class of the People's Artist of Russia, Professor Vladimir Ivanov). The student of Vienna Conservatory (class of Professor Boris Kushnir). The laureate of Tchaikovsky International Competition (Moscow, 2015). The soloist of the Moscow Philharmonic. Participant of the Music House programs since 2007.
