Alexey was born in St. Petersburg in 1986. He graduated with honors from the Children's Art School No. 4 ( class of Alexander Lobanov). Since 2001, he studied at the Sankt-Petersburg State Mussorgsky Musical College (class of Vitaly Serikov). In 2005-2010 he studied at the Rimsky-Korsakov St. Petersburg State Conservatory (class of Honored Artist of the Russian Federation, Professor Veniamin Margolin). In 2010, he started his post-graduate studies at St. Petersburg Conservatory (class of People's Artist of Russia professor Viktor Sumerkin).
Laureate of the international competitions:
2002- the 4th International Competition for Young Musicians (Volgograd);
2002 - the 4th of the IV International Youth Competition named after E.A. Mravinsky; (diploma and special prize award).
2008 - the 2nd Prize Award in the International Nikolai Rimsky-Korsakov Woodwinds and Brass Competition (Saint-Petersburg).
2009 - the 1st Timofei Dokschitzer International Brass Competition.
He received Scholarship by the Rostropovich Foundation in 2007, 2008, and in 2009 - the Talented Youth Award of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation. Since 2011, he plays in the Mariinsky Theater Stage Orchestra.
As a fourth-year student, he began working as a teacher and conductor of a brass band at the St. Petersburg Children's School of Arts No. 4, continuing the work of his teacher Alexander Lobanov, who had passed away prematurely.
In 2006, the Organizing Committee of the First Music Festival “Days of Greece in St. Petersburg awarded his brass band the Certificate of Merit for outstanding professional skills and for creative initiative shown during the first music festival.
In 2009, he won the review contest for young teachers “Pedagogical Hopes 2008” in the nominated category “Teacher & Musician” (St. Petersburg), the Government of the City of St. Petersburg Award Competition “Pedagogical Hopes 2011”
