Alexander was born 1987. Since 1996, he studied at the music school of the Volgograd State Institute of Arts and Culture (class of Professor Lyudmila Sukhanova, Honoured Artist of the Russian Federation), then at the school of the Russian National State Institute of Arts and Culture. In 2007, he was transferred to Rimsky-Korsakov St. Petersburg State Conservatory (class of professor Tatyana Mikhailovna Zagorovskaya, Honoured Artist of Russia).
Laureate of competitions:
2003 – The 3rd Prize and a bronze medalof the 3rd Russian National Youth Delphic Games (Volgograd);
2003 - Цinner at the Safonov Russian National Youth Competition (Pyatigorsk).
2008 - the 2nd prize at the III International Competition “A Way to Mastery”. (Moscow).
Alexander Leskov is a regular participant in open concerts of his faculty and class, various festivals and workshops. (Rachmaninoff Festival, Shostakovsky Readings, Wagner Society, etc.).
