Alexandra Weissbekker was born in Marburg, Germany in 2001. She is a graduate of the Specialized Secondary School of Music at The N.G. Zhiganov Kazan State Conservatory in the class of Yulia Vivat, Honored Teacher of the Republic of Tatarstan. In 2019 she is a student at the Mozarteum University in Salzburg in the class of Professor Pierre Amoyal.
She won prizes in international competitions:
2017 – The 2nd Prize Award in the International Competition for Young Performers named after Rudolf Gummert in Kazan
– The 3rd Prize Award in the 5th Leopold Auer International Violin Competition in St. Petersburg
– The 2nd Prize Award in the 9th International Competition "Romanticism: Origins and Horizons" in Moscow
– The winner the 7th International Strings competition "Magic Bow" in Perm
2018 – The 2nd Prize Award in the International Beethoven Violin Competition in Austria.
2019 – The 4th Prize Award in the International Violin Competition Kloster Schöntal in Germany
2020 – The winner in the International Anton Rubinstein Violin Competition in Dusseldorf, Germany
– The winner the 2nd All-Russian Competition of Young musicians "Constellation" at the Sirius Education Center, Sochi
She has participated in master classes by Ayman Musakhadzhaeva, Boris Kushnir, Alexander Vinnitsky, Alexander Povolotsky, Anna Sokolova, Irina Bochkova, Tatiana Samuil, Thomas Gould, Nikita Borisoglebsky and Rodion Zamuruev.
She also improved her skills in the Sirius Education Center in Sochi in the classes of Mikhail Gantvarg (2016), Alexey Koshvants, Alexander Trostyansky (2017).
She has won in the All-Russian Competition "Young Talents of Russia" (2015). She has won in the 14th Delphic Youth Games of Russia (2015). She is a diploma award winner in the 3rd All-Russian Music Competition in Moscow, 2018.
She toured the cities of Russia and abroad. She has performed at concert venues in the Republic of Tatarstan, including the State Big Concert Hall, the Gabdulla Tuqay Tatar State Philharmonia, the M. Jalil Tatar State Academic Opera and Ballet Theatre and others.
She has performed with the State Symphony Orchestra and the State Orchestra of Folk Instruments of the Republic of Tatarstan, the Nikolayev Youth Symphony Orchestra of Russia, the Ryazan Philharmonic Orchestra and others.
She takes part in the programs of the St. Petersburg Music House since 2018.
