Alexey was born in St. Petersburg in 1986. In 2002 he graduated from the Children's Music School No.11 in St. Petersburg, class of Honored Worker of Culture G.M. Myuller and entered the Mussorgsky Music School ( class of Honored Artist, Professor Nikolai Neretin), then studied at the St. Petersburg State Rimsky-Korsakov Conservatoire(class of Pavel Terentyev).
Laureate of competitions:
2004 - the 2nd prize at the 5th International Young Musicians Competition “Symphony” (Volgograd).
2005 - the Grand Prix at the International Competition “Art of the 21th Century” (Ukraine, Kiev-Vorzel).
2006 - the Grand Prix at the Republican Open Youth Ensemble Competition "Silver Sounds" (Petrozavodsk).
2009 - He also won the Grand Prix for playing in a woodwind sextet at the International Contest and Festival “Vivat Talent”.
He is a laureate of the St. Petersburg Government Prize “Young Talents” (2005).
