The laureate of the 3rd All-Russian Music Competition (Moscow, 2018) will play solo in the Rachmaninoff’s Piano Concerto no 2. Conductor: Honored Artist of Russia Alexander Kantorov.

Wednesday, 13 November, at 7 p.m., the “Music of Stars” will sound in the St. Petersburg Academic Capella (Moika River Emb. 20). Laureate of the Tchaikovsky Competition (Moscow, 2015) Aleksander Ramm (cello), as well as the winner of the Chopin Competition (Narva, 2018) and the International Piano Competition in Lyon (France, 2018) Elizaveta Kliuchereva (piano) will perform with the Capella Symphony Orchestra conducted by Honoured artist of Russia Alexei Vasiliev. This special evening will feature masterpieces by Saint-Saëns, Tchaikovsky and Rachmaninoff.

Saturday, February 16, at 3.00, 5.00, 7.00 p.m., there will be the St. Petersburg Music House piano marathon consisting of three hourlong concerts that will be given in the concert hall of the Sheremetev Palace (34 Fontanka Embankment), there also will be a presentation of the new Steinway grand piano, donated to the city’s Theatre and Music Museum.
Six Music House’s young soloists from Moscow and St. Petersburg, all aged between 17 and 28, will perform: laureates of the 3rd All-Russian Music Competition (Moscow, 2018) Timofey Dolya and Ilia Papoian, winner and the International PianoTalents Competition Special Prize Awardee (Milan, 2017) Evgenii Evgrafov, winner of the International Piano Competition (France, 2017) Alina Fedoseeva, winner of the James Mottram International Piano Competition in Manchester (England, 2018) Elizaveta Ukrainskaya, Grand Prix winner of the Jazeps Vitols International Piano Competition (Riga, 2013) Andrei Telkov.

Wednesday, February 20, at 7.00 p.m., “Evenings in the English Hall” on 122 Moika Emb. will welcome the winner of the 3rd All-Russian Music Competition (Moscow, 2018) Vasiliy Stepanov (cello) and the winner of Manhattan International Competition (USA, 2018) Alexey Melnikov (piano). The audience is welcome to enjoy pieces by Brahms, Liszt, Tchaikovsky, Shchedrin, Wieniawski and Rachmaninoff.

Wednesday, February 27, at 7 p.m., the Music House’s soloists will give a concert of “Young Interpreters of Russia” series at the Beloselsky-Belozersky Palace (41 Nevsky Prospect). There will be a performance with orchestra of laureate of the 3rd All-Russian Music Competition Timofey Dolya (piano) and laureate of the International Aram Khachaturian Competition (Armenia, 2018), the “The Best Concerto Performance with a Chamber Orchestra in the Second Round” Awardee of the International Tchaikovsky Competition (Moscow 2015) Fedor Amosov (cello). Program: Rachmaninoff’s Piano Concerto no. 2 and Dvořák’s Concerto for cello and orchestra.
