ST. PETERSBURG MUSIC HOUSE, PLAYBILL (oktober, 2015)

On Wednesday, October 7, at the Beloselsky-Belozersky Palace (41, Nevsky), an open admission symphony concert will take place that will open the Tenth Season of the “Russia’s Young Performers” concert cycle. The orchestra will be accompanied by: Fyodor Amosov, cellist, prize-winner of the prize “For the best performance of a concerto with a chamber orchestra in the second tour” at the 15th international Tchaikovsky Competition (Moscow, 2015) and pianist Yuri Favorin, prize-winner of the Queen Elizabeth International Competition (Brussels, 2010). The program of the evening will feature the Second Cello Concerto by Kabalevsky and First Piano Concerto by Tchaikovsky. Alexander Titov, Distinguished Artist of Russia, will be directing the orchestra.
On Wednesday, October 14,  on the stage of the mirrored room of the Beloselsky-Belozersky Palace (41, Nevsky) a chamber concert under the title “Brass Parade” of the “Russia’s Young Performers” cycle will take place. The soloists performing will be students of the Saint Petersburg conservatory who will present an entire variety of wind instruments.
Audience age restriction is  6+; ticket cost is 200-250 roubles; curtain time is 19:00
 
On Friday, October 9, at the Saint Petersburg Music House (122, Moyka embankment), in the framework of the “Evenings in the English Hall” cycle, a solo concert by pianist Mikhail Voskresensky, People’s Artist of Russia, professor, Head of the Piano Department at the Moscow conservatory, will take place. The program will feature masterpieces of piano music by Scriabin, Grieg and Brahms.
Audience age restriction is 12+; ticket cost is 400-500 roubles; curtain time is 19:00
Spiked shoes, picture and video filming are not allowed.
 
On Wednesday, October 28, at the stage of the English Hall of Saint Petersburg Music House (122, Moyka embankment) a chamber concert in the framework of the “Evenings in the English Hall” cycle will take place. The program will feature works by:

On Wednesday, October 21, on the stage of the Saint Petersburg Capella (20, Moyka embankment), the first symphony concert of the Music House subscription cycle under the same name “Music of the Stars” will take place. The artists playing with the orchestra will include: Aylen Pritchin, violinist, winner of the Marguerite Long and Jaques Thibaud Competition (France, 2014) and pianist Yuri Favorin, prize-winner of the Queen Elizabeth International Competition (Brussels, 2010). The program will feature the timeless masterpieces of the symphony music: Second Violin Concerto by Prokoviev, Piano Variations by Frank and “Blues Style Rhapsody” by George Gershwin. The concert program will be participated by the Saint Petersburg Capella Symphony Orchestra directed by Dimitris Botinis.
Audience age restriction is 6+, ticket cost is 300-600 rooubles, curtain time is 19:00
 

14 to 16 October 11 am to 3 pm the St. Petersburg (Moika embankment 122A) invites to the open-to-public master classes of “Higher Music Performance Courses” series to be held by the People’s Artist of Russia, professor of the The Reina Sofía School of Music in Madrid, pianist Dmitry Bashkirov.
Deadline of application submission: 2 pm October 5, 2015.
Audience 12+. Ticket price for listeners: 100 rub.
 
20 to 22 October 11 am to 3 pm the St. Petersburg (Moika embankment 122A) invites to the open-to-public master classes of “Higher Music Performance Courses” series to be held by Vincent Lucas (flute). Vincent Lucas, Professor of the Paris National High Conservatory, is actively engaged in the educational activities and for today is a soloist and concertmaster of the flute group in the Paris Orchestra.

Master classes at the Sirius Educational Center in Sochi

From 1 through 24 of October, at the Sirius Educational Center (Sochi) master classes for young musicians will continue as a part of the project "Embassy of Musical Mastery"; young performers on wind instruments will come for the V Creative Session.  Participants will receive lessons from famous educators: Professor of Gnesins Academy Margarita Shaposhnikova (saxophone), Professor of Saint Petersburg Conservatory Olga Chernyadyeva (flute) and Associate Professor of Saint Petersburg Conservatory Boris Taburetkin (trumpet, tuba). Also, the participants will hear lectures on Russian music from Professor of the Saint Petersburg Conservatory Zivar Guseynova. This Session is purposely focused on teaching methodology specifically for the teachers of young musicians: teachers from the regions can attend master classes in Sochi with their students. The entry to Sirius Education Center is closed for outside visitors.

The 2nd prize winner of the SFORZANDO International Competiton (Kazan, 2015) Azat Nurgayanov (violin) and winner of the Duetti Di Primavera International Competition (Moscow, 2015) German Kitkin (piano) will perform. The program features a violin concerto by Sibelius and Second Concerto for a Piano and orchestra by Rakhmaninov. At the conductor’s stand will be Mikhail Scherbakov.

October 28, Wednesday, 6.30 pm at the Saidashev State Concert Hall in Kazan, the second solo concert of the “River of Talents” project will take place. Yury Kokko (piano), 3rd prize winner of “Musica Classica” International Competition (Ruza, 2012), Fanilya Kudelich  (violin), diploma winner of the Delphian Games (Samara, 2009), and  Nikolay Konakov, winner of the Grand Prix of the “Siberian Musical Assemblies” International Festival Competition of Wind and Percussion Instrument Performers (Novosibirsk, 2014) will play with the Tatarstan Republic Symphony Orchestra. Beethoven’s Second Concerto, Second Concerto by Bruch and Concertino for Marimba with and Orchestra by Creston. At the conductor’s stand will be Mikhail Mosenkov.

October 1 and 3, Saint Petersburg Music House invites to Algarve, Portugal, where the Embassy of Musical Mastery concerts dedicated to the International Music Day will take place. Vitaly Vatulya (saxophone), 2nd prize winner of the Saxophone Voice in the Modern World Contest (Moscow, 2011) and Elizaveta Ivanova (piano), winner of Euregio Piano Award 2015 3rd International Competition (Geilenkirchen, Germany). Portuguese public will hear the works such as Sonatas by Brahms and Haydn, Preludes by Debussy and Martin, Nocturnes by Chopin and Romance Songs by Rakhmaninov. On October 2, the Music House soloists will conduct master classes at Algarve Conservatory.

Music House soloists, Andrei Sannikov (flute), winner of Antonio Salieri Prize International Music Competition (Italy 2015) and Polina Borisova (violin), winner of the International Festival Contest Dedicated to the 100th Anniversary of Grachya Bogdanyan (Armenia, 2014) will play pieces by Russian and French composers. The piano part will be performed by Anna Grot, award-winner of international competitions.

Tchaikovsky International Competition (Moscow, 2015) will perform. On October 9, the Music House soloists will conduct master-classes at the Music School.

Olga Yakushina (violin), winner of the Robert Canetti International Violinist Competition (Bulgaria, 2008) and Andrey Dubov (piano), winner of the 3rd prize at A. Rubinstein International Contest (Dresden, 2012) will perform. The evening’s program will feature pieces by Yzaye, Ravel, Veniavski, Musorgsky, Beethoven and Liszt.
