Anton was born in Ufa (Republic of Bashkortostan in Volga Federal district) in 1985. At the age of 5 he started to learn to play cello (class of Professor M. Afanasyev). In 2008 he graduated from the Tchaikovsky Moscow Conservatoire (class of People's Artist of the USSR Natalia Shakhovskaya) and continued his postgraduate studies.
Laureate of international competitions:
1999 - Grand Prix at the M. and L. Rostropovich Open Competition.
2006 - the 2nd prize and four special prizes at the 58th Prague Spring International Music Competition.
Anton participated masterclasses by M. Rostropovich, D. Shafran, D. Geringas, S. Roldugin, E. Finke, M. Homitzer, V. Feygin, I. Gavrish, A. Vasilyeva, V. Birina, B. Talalai and others.
Anton has been marked by various awards and scholarships: Sh. Babich State Youth Republican Award for Literature, Architecture and Art in 2001, Russian Performing Art Foundation, M. Rostropovich Foundation, Presidential Scholarship of the Republic of Bashkortostan, Scholarship of the Moscow Conservatory Academic Council, V. Spivakov International Charity Foundation Scholarship.
Anton has participated in many international festivals, including The Colmar International Music Festival in memory of L. Bernstein, International Pablo Casals Cello Competition in Kronberg, Musical Olympus competition in St. Petersburg, Virtuosos of the planet in Kiev and many others.
He has performed with many symphony and chamber orchestras, among them the Prague Symphony Orchestra, the Academic Symphony Orchestra of the St. Petersburg Philharmonic, the State Academic Symphony Cappella of Russia under Polyanskiy, the National Symphony Orchestra of Ukraine, the Moscow State Symphony Orchestra, the Saratov Academic Symphony Orchestra, the National Symphony Orchestra of the Republic of Bashkortostan, collaborating with such conductors as Charles Olivieri-Munroe, A. Sladkovsky, N. Dyadyura, A. Levin, V. Platonov, T. Kamalov, D. Orlov, I. Gaisin, G. Kim, E. Stavinsky, T. Akhnazaryan and others.
The young musician has performed in the leading concert halls of Moscow and Russian cities as well as in the Netherlands, Germany, the UK, Switzerland, France, Norway and Belgium.
Since 2005 he has been playing the cello made by Lorenzo Guadagnini provided by the State Collection of Unique Musical Instruments.
