Denis was born to a family of musicians. Until 2000, he studied at Children's Music School of the Nizhny Novgorod Music College (class of Honored Worker of Culture Natalia Fish). In 2000-2007, Denis was a student at Higher School of Music of Queen Sofia in Spain, in the class of Professor Dmitry Bashkirov and his assistant Claudio Martínez Mehner. In 2005, following the results of academic year, he received a diploma as the top pupil of the piano department of Dmitry Bashkirov.
Laureate of international competitions:
the Grand Prix at the 7th International Festival in Otranto (Italy).
2001 - the 1st prize and a special prize at the 7th International Competition in Andorra,
2010 - the 1st prize at the Queen Elisabeth Competition in 2010.
Denis was a scholarship holder of the International Charitable Foundation “New Names”, the “Young Talents of Russia” Foundation and the Children's Foundation.
Denis was a participant of the annual Nizhny Novgorod festival “New Names”, he participated in the “Martha Argerich Presents” Festival in Lugano, Switzerland, took part in the festival in Verbier (Switzerland), and the International Sviatoslav Richter Festival in Paris. He has also participated in many international music festivals, including the Sakharov International Arts Festival (Nizhny Novgorod). He has toured in Spain, France, Italy, Germany, Switzerland and the Dominican Republic.
