Denis Shashkarov was born in 1986 in Novocheboksarsk. At the age of 5 he went to a music school. During his training, he became a winner of the All-Russian Competition “New Names” twice (in 1997 and in 1999). He graduated from the Cheboksary Musical College named after F.P. Pavlov (the class of Valentina Galyan), and later the Kazan Conservatory named after N.G. Zhiganov (the class of Yevgeny Mikhailov). In 2014 he graduated from the Kazan Conservatory as a post-graduate (the class of Oleg Shmaevsky).
A first prizewinner of the Interregional Piano Competition named after N.V. Lemaev (Nizhnekamsk, 2004), a holder of a diploma of the “Delphic Games” festival (Ryazan, 2005), a second prizewinner of the 3rd International Piano Competition named after Neygauz (Chelyabinsk, 2015).
In 2005, he became a scholar of the Ministry of Culture and Cinematography of the Russian Federation.
Dennis has been carrying on concert activities in Kazan, Nizhnekamsk, Cheboksary and other cities of the Republic of Tatarstan and the Middle Volga.
A participant of the programmes of the St. Petersburg Music House since 2010.
