Ekaterina was born in Novosibirsk in 1986. In 2004 she graduated with honours from the Lyceum of the Novosibirsk Glinka State Conservatoire (Academy) (class of Honoured Worker of Culture Irina Berman). She also graduated from the Novosibirsk State Glinka Conservatory (class of Honored Artist of Russia, Professor Dina Shevchuk).
Laureate of competitions:
2001: A diploma holder at the 1st V.Gavrilin International Youth Piano Competition (Vologda).
2001: The 2nd prize award at the International piano competition “Steinway-Klavierspiel-Wettbewerb” (Hamburg, Germany).
2005: The Grand Prix at the 6th Open Competition for Young Pianists “West-Siberia-East”.
2005: Diplomas for the best performance of sonatas by A. Skryabin and A. Nasedkin, and a special audience prize from teaching musicians of Yaroslavl at the 2nd A. Nasedkin Open Young Pianists Competition (Yaroslavl).
2009: The 1st Prize Award in the International Piano Competition in Portugal.
Ekaterina has participated in masterclasses by Professor W.Manz and J.Goldstein (Germany, Altdorf), O’Rourke (Ireland), K.Scherbakov (Switzerland), Professor Takashi Yamazaki (Japan), F.Banfield (Germany).
From 1996 to 2008, she held a scholarship for outstanding children in the field of culture and art provided by the head of the Novosibirsk Region Administration.
She also was a Scholar of the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation “Young talents” in 2005-2006.
2007: A laureate at the Festival of Arts for Students of Cultural Institutions “Young Talents to Anniversary of the Region” dedicated to the 70th anniversary of the Novosibirsk Region.
She performed with symphony orchestras of Tomsk State Philharmonic Society and Novosibirsk State Conservatory. She performed solo concerts in Tel Aviv (Israel), South Korea.
