April 21, Thursday at 5 p.m. St. Petersburg Music House and Rossotrudnichestvo invite to Slovakia at concert of series "Embassy of Musical Mastery". On the Eve of Sergei Prokofiev`s Anniversary at Russian Science and Cultural Center in Bratislava will peform the solists of Music House - the laureates of International competitions Polina Borisova (violin) and Natalia Sokolovskaya (piano).
 
In Honor of Prokofiev`s 125th Anniversary, widely celebrated on 23 April, will be heard its world-famous works: Five Melodies for Violin and Piano, Montagues and Capulets March (Dance of the Knights) from the ballet "Romeo and Juliet" and March from the opera "The Love for Three Oranges". Plays of the Series "Tales of Old Grandma" will soak listeners deep into the World of Russian Folk Tales and Legends. Third Piano Sonata, requires special virtuositity, said the composer Nikolay Myaskovsky (whose 135th Anniversary celebrates on 20 April) describing it as "ardent and passionate".
 The guests will hear the plays of popular Series "Memories of a Dear Place" and bright Russian Dance from the ballet "Swan Lake" by Pyotr Tchaikovsky. The Music of Rachmaninov, whose birthday always opens the April Music Season, will be represented by his Preludes from Opus 23 and 32 – the composer's recognized piano masterpieces.
 
Polina Borisova (28 years old). Born in Ryazan. Graduate of the Moscow Conservatory (Class of Professor Ara Bogdanyan). The winner of International Competition "Muses of the World" (Moscow, 2014), "Night in Madrid" (Spain, 2015), Agustin Aponte Competition (Spain, 2016). The Member of St. Petersburg Music House Program since 2013.
 
Natalia Sokolovskaya (26 years old). Born in Astrakhan. Graduate Student of the Moscow Conservatory (Class of Professor Yuri Slesarev). Laureate of the Gershwin International Competitions (New York, 2015) and «Cidade de Ferrol» (Spain, 2015). The winner of International Competition «Nuova Coppa» (Italia, 2015). The winner of International Competition MozArte (Germany, 2015). The Member of St. Petersburg Music House Program since 2010.

"Embassy of Musical Mastery" is a unique project of the St. Petersburg Music House and "Rossotrudnichestvo", which takes place since 2012 and includes the creative meetings of leading Russian musicians, as well as tours of the young soloists at the Russian Science and Cultural Centers abroad. The Series of Concerts of "Embassy of Musical Mastery" are dedicated to the 125th Anniversary of Sergei Prokofiev. On 21 April the Soloists of Music House will perform at the Russian Science and Culture Center in Brussels, and on 22 April - in Prague.
