Born in Moscow in 2002, Eric Mirzoyan began learning to play the recorder at the V.M. Blazhevich Children's School of Music under the guidance of teacher Anna Pryalkina. Later, he continued his studies at the Central Music School of the Moscow State Tchaikovsky Conservatory, initially under the tutelage of People's Artist of the Russian Federation Vladimir Ferapontov, and then under the guidance of People's Artist of the Russian Federation, Professor Evgeniy Petrov. Since 2021, he has been a student at the Moscow State Tchaikovsky Conservatory under the mentorship of People's Artist of the Russian Federation, Professor Evgeny Petrov. Additionally, he is also studying at the Barenboim-Said Academy in Berlin under the instruction of Professor Matthias Glander.
He is a laureate of international and all-Russian competitions:
2012 – First prize recipient at the XIII International Competition of Young Musicians "Nutcracker" (awarded the Grand Prix and a grant named after Vladimir Spivakov)
2015 – First prize winner at the All-Russian Open Television Competition "Blue Bird"
Recipient of the Prize of the Government of the Russian Federation (2021), he is a scholarship holder and a regular participant in concert programs of the Vladimir Spivakov Foundation. In 2016, he was awarded the Grand Prix at the All-Russian competition "Musical Talents of Russia" and the Prize of the All-Russian competition "Young Talents of Russia."
He is a permanent participant of the International Festival "Moscow Meets Friends" with Vladimir Spivakov, a regular performer at concerts of the International Charity Fund "New Names," and the festival of the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation "Flowers of Russia."
He also took part in the International Festival "Peregrinos Musicales" in Spain, performing with the Royal Orchestra of Spain under the baton of Maximino Zumalave. He actively performs in Europe.
Since 2014, he has been a participant in programs at the Moscow Philharmonic, and since 2021, he has been a soloist in the clarinet group of the Concert Symphony Orchestra of the Moscow Conservatory.
He has become a participant in the programs of the St. Petersburg Music House starting from 2022.
