Evgeny was born in Moscow in 1984 and learned at Central School of Music of the P.I. Tchaikovsky Moscow State Conservatory. He graduated from Moscow Conservatoire, where he completed his postgraduate course in 2010 (class of People's Artist of the USSR, Professor Natalia Shakhovskaya).
Laureate of international competitions:
2007: The 4th Prize Award at the 13th P.I. Tchaikovsky International Competition (Moscow),
2010: The winner of the Aram Khachaturian International Cellists Competition (Armenia).
He is a fellow and participant of concert programs of Vladimir Spivakov and Mstislav Rostropovich Foundations, The “Russian Performing Arts”.
He has participated in workshops by Mstislav Rostropovich, David Geringas, Eberhard Finke and Sergei Roldugin.
Evgeny has an active concert career, performing with great success in the top halls of Russia, Europe, Asia and Africa. He has participated in many international festivals, among them Usedomer Musikfestival (Germany), Juventus Music Festival (France), Vladimir Horowitz Festival, Mstislav Rostropovich Festival, Moscow Autumn, Maximafest, Ars Longa, Mozart Days in Moscow, Bringing to Svyatoslav Knushevitsky (Saratov), Moscow International Cello Festival “Viva Cello”, Festival “Dedicated to the 125th anniversary of Semyon Kozolupov”, Green Noise (Surgut), Festival of Svyatoslav Richter Foundation, DMZ Peace Train Music Festival (South Korea).
Evgeny has records on CD, television and radio. Since 2010 he teaches at the Moscow Conservatoire and gives workshops. He is a member of the Association of Laureates of Tchaikovsky International Competition, a member of the International Union of Musical Workers.
