Evgeniya Sakharova, born in 2007 in Voronezh, graduated from the Voronezh Specialized Music School (College). In 2021, she was admitted to the Gnessin Moscow Special School of Music, where she studies under Vasily Stepanov, laureate of international competitions.

In 2019, she received:

the second prize at the VII Governor’s International Youth Competition named after Valery Gavrilin (Vologda),

the second prize at the III International Competition of Musical Arts named after A. K. Glazunov (Petrozavodsk), and

the Grand Prix and a personal scholarship at the II Open Competition for Young Musicians named after V. A. Ovchinnikov "The Path to Perfection" (Voronezh).
In 2022, she received:

the first prize at the XI International Open Festival-Competition of Young Musicians "Vivat Musica" (Moscow).

received the second prize at the Grand Prix "Golden Talents" Competition (Kursk) and

was a diploma winner at the VI International Cello Competition named after Knushevitsky (Saratov).
She has participated in masterclasses with Alexey Seleznev, Denis Shapovalov, Oleg Bugaev, Petr Kondrashin, Boris Andrianov, Alexander Rudin, Frans Helmerson, and Jens Peter Maintz. She has been a scholarship recipient of the "New Names" Foundation since 2016.
Since 2018, she has been a member of the All-Russian Youth Symphony Orchestra under the direction of Yuri Bashmet.
