Iliya was born in Moscow in 1999. He started to study music in 2011 at the Children's Music School at the Academic Music College of the Moscow Conservatory, from which he later graduated with honors with an Honored Artist of the Russian Federation Professor Alexei Seleznev. He graduated from the Moscow State Tchaikovsky Conservatory (class of People's Artist of Russia, Professor Alexander Rudin). He was recognized as the best graduate of the year of the Moscow State Tchaikovsky Conservatory (2024). Since 2024, he has been an assistant trainee at the Moscow Conservatory (class of the same teacher).

Laureate of the 3rd prize at the Rubinstein International Competition of Chamber Ensembles and String Quartets as part of the quartet "Rebellion" (Moscow, 2021).
He is a recipient of the "New Names" Foundation's scholarship and the Moscow Mayor's Grant (2016). Since 2019, he has been the recipient of a grant from the President of the Russian Federation.
He has performed as a soloist in the New Names Foundation's touring programs in Germany, Italy, Austria, Malta, as well as in many towns in Russia.
Iliya took part in master classes with such professors as David Geringas, Jens Peter Maintz, Johannes Moser, Raphael Wallfisch , Alban Gerhardt, Boris Adrianov, Alexander Ramm.
Currently, he is actively engaged in concert work, performing in different halls of Moscow: the Great Hall of the Conservatory, the Small Hall of the Conservatory, the Rachmaninoff Hall of the Conservatory, the Moscow International House of Music, etc.
He takes part in the programs of the St. Petersburg Music House since 2022.
