Iliya was born in Moscow in 1999. He started to study music in 2011 at the Children's Music School at the Academic Music College of the Moscow Conservatory, from which he later graduated with honors with an Honored Artist of the Russian Federation Professor Alexei Seleznev. Since 2019, he is a student at the Moscow State Tchaikovsky Conservatory (class People's Artist of Russia, Professor Alexander Rudin).

- The 2nd Prize Award at the All-Russian Competition and Festival named after Mikhail Ippolitov-Ivanov in Moscow
- The 3rd Prize Award at the All-Russian Rubinstein Chamber Ensembles and String Quartets Competition as a member of the Rebellion Quartet in Moscow
2022
- The III prize at the IV All-Russian Music Competition (Ufa)
He is a recipient of the "New Names" Foundation's scholarship and the Moscow Mayor's Grant (2016). Since 2019, he has been the recipient of a grant from the President of the Russian Federation.
He has performed as a soloist in the New Names Foundation's touring programs in Germany, Italy, Austria, Malta, as well as in many towns in Russia.
Iliya took part in master classes with such professors as David Geringas, Jens Peter Maintz, Johannes Moser, Raphael Wallfisch , Alban Gerhardt.
Currently, he is actively engaged in concert work, performing in different halls of Moscow: the Great Hall of the Conservatory, the Small Hall of the Conservatory, the Rachmaninoff Hall of the Conservatory, the Moscow International House of Music, etc.
He takes part in the programs of the St. Petersburg Music House since 2022.
