Ivan Glazov was born in the year 2006 in the city of Sochi. He received his musical education at the school of the “Jazz Academy” in Moscow, where he studied under the instruction of teacher Valentina Voronina. Since the year 2023, he has been a student at the “Jazz Academy,” where he is studying under the guidance of Honored Artist of the Russian Federation and Professor Yevgeny Petrov.
He has received awards at international competitions:
2024
- the First Prize at the X International Arts Competition “Allegretto Grazioso” (Moscow).
2025
- the First Prize at the III International Competition for Young Performing Musicians “Territory of Creativity” (Moscow State Tchaikovsky Conservatory, Moscow);
- the First Prize at the VIII International Competition for Performers on Wind and Percussion Instruments “Northern Rhapsody” (Cherepovets);
- the First Prize at the IV International Youth Music Competition dedicated to Igor Fyodorovich Stravinsky (Saint Petersburg).
He has participated in masterclasses conducted by Mikhail Beznosov, Grigory Maliyev, Anton Moiseenko, Nikita Vaganov, Sergey Yeletsky, Viktor Kulyk, and Nikolay Mozgovyenko.
He took part in the creative sessions of the Sirius Educational Center in the classes of Viktor Kulyk (2023) and Yevgeny Petrov (2024).
Since 2024, he has been a member of the All-Russian Youth Symphony Orchestra under the direction of Yuri Bashmet.
In 2025, he participated in the Kustendorf Classic Festival (Serbia).
