Nikita Lyutikov (clarinet) and Vladimir Pinialov (trumpet) will perform
December 31, Saturday at 7.30 p.m., Austrian Linz will celebrate the New Year with traditional concert of the St. Petersburg Music House soloists. On the Brucknerhaus stage will perform the laureates of international competitions Nikita Lyutikov (clarinet) and Vladimir Pinialov (trumpet). Piano pieces will perform the laureate of international competitions Natalya Frolova.
The audience is waiting for a real musical extravaganza. This evening will open Saint-Saens and Gabriel Pierné pieces, as well as Alexander Rosenblatt Variations on Theme from Opera "Carmen". National motifs will be presented by Jose Mauri`s Cuban Competitive solo, Vincent Bach`s Hungarian Melodies and Herman Bellstedt`s Neapolitan Canzone. Trumpet songs will sound at Rachmaninoff`s Vocalise and refined Fritz Kreisler`s "Beautiful Rosemary".
Festival atmosphere will warm up Jean-Baptiste Arban`s "Fantasy and Variations on the Carnival of Venice" and Alexander Chabot`s Fantasy on Themes of Tchaikovsky Ballet "The Nutcracker". The fragments of Gershwin`s grandiose Rhapsody in Blue will become a spectacular end of the evening.
Nikita Lyutikov, 25 years old. Born in St. Petersburg. Postgraduate student of the St. Petersburg Conservatory (Class of Honored Artist of Russia, Professor Andrei Kazakov). Winner of the German-Russian Competition of Woodwind Instruments Gartow Charitable Foundation (2011) and the International Competition of Clarinetists in Ghent (Belgium, 2015). Member of St. Petersburg Music House Program since 2008.
Vladimir Pinialov, 22 years old. Born in Moscow. Student of the Moscow Conservatory (Class of laureate of international competitions Vladislav Lavrik). The Winner of Savely Orlov International Music Competition and Festival (Samara, 2014) and Togliatti International Competition of Performing Musicians (Togliatti, 2016). Member of St. Petersburg Music House Program since 2014.

"Russian Tuesdays" — a joint project of the St Petersburg Music House and Concert Center Brucknerhaus, named in honor of the eminent Austrian composer Anton Bruckner. The next concert of the project will be held in 7 February 2017 at Brucknerhaus will perform the laureate of the XV International Tchaikovsky Competition pianist Sergei Redkin.
