Nikolay was born in Saratov in 1986. In 2001-2004 he went to the Central Secondary Special Music School of the Moscow State Conservatory (class of Professor Arcady Sevidov, People’s Artist of Russia). In 2004-2009, Nikolay studied at the Moscow State Conservatory, and in 2009-2012, he took his postgraduate course (class of the same teacher).
Laureate of international competitions:
1998 – the 3rd Prize at the International Piano Competition (Vicenza, Italy).
1999 – the 2nd Prize at the All-Russia Competition n.a. V.Safonov (Pyatigorsk).
2000 – the 2nd Prize at the All-Russia Competition n.a. Gnessins (Moscow).
2003 – the 1st Prize at the International Competition (Tolyatti).
2006 – the 2nd Prize at the ROMA-2006 International Competition within the piano duet (Rome, Italy).
2008 – the Gran Prix at the International Competition n.a. M.Yudina in St. Petersburg within the piano duet.
2009 – the 2nd Prize winner at the International Keyboard Institute and Festival (New York, USA).
2010 – the honorable medal holder of the Maria Canals International Music Competition (Barcelona, Spain).
2011 – the 2nd Prize and Gaidamovich Special Award at the 4th S. Taneev International Competition of Chamber Ensembles within the piano duet (Kaluga).
2012 – the Special Award at the 8th Thalberg International Piano Competition (Naples, Italy).
2013 – the Golden Tone Award at the Blüthner International Piano Competition (Vienna, Austria).
Nikolay is actively involved in the concert activities in Russia and other countries.
Since 2011, the musician has been taking part in the Saint-Petersburg Music House programs.
