February 3 Music house celebrates its Tenth Anniversary
February 3, Wednesday 7 pm St. Petersburg Music House on the ocassion of its Tenth Anniversary invites to Gala Concert of "Music of Stars" Series.
On the stage of St. Petersburg Cappella will perform soloists that collaborate with the Music House from the first season: Laureate of the Tchaikovsky International Competition 2015 Pavel Milyukov (viloin) and the Winner of the Tchaikovsky International Competition 2007 Miroslav Kultyshev (piano). The Cappella Orchestra will be conducted by the Artistic Director of Music House, People's Artist of Russia Sergei Roldugin.
The program includes masterpieces of performing arts: Johannes Brahms Violin Concerto and Tchaikovsky's First Piano Concerto.
Pavel Milyukov (31 years old). Born in Perm. Graduate of the Moscow Conservatory (class of Professor Vladimir Ivanov). Student of Vienna Conservatory (class of Professor Boris Kushnir). Laureate of numerous Competitions, including Tchaikovsky International Competition (Moscow, 2015). Member of the St. Petersburg Music House Program since 2007.
Miroslav Kultyshev (30 years old). Born in Leningrad. Graduate of the St. Petersburg Conservatory (class of Prof. Alexander Sandler). Winner of Tchaikovsky International Competition (Moscow, 2007) and Monte Carlo Piano Masters Competition (Monaco, 2012). Member of the St. Petersburg Music House Program since 2006.
February 5, Friday, 7 pm the anniversary concert will take place in Moscow. The Great Hall of the Moscow Conservatory will host ”Music of Stars”. Pavel Milyukov and Miroslav Kultyshev will perform together with the Tchaikovsky Symphony Orchestra. the Artistic Director of Music House, People's Artist of Russia Sergei Roldugin will conduct again.
St. Petersburg Music House — Federal Cultural Institution created in 2006 to train young Russian musicians for International Competitions. Most of the focus is on Students and Graduates of Conservatories in age from 16 to 30 years - Solists of Orchestral Specialties. Music House occupies the Palace of Grand Duke Alexei Romanov on the 122 Moika River Emb., renovated overa n period of 2007-2010.
The initiator of creation of this new institution and its artistic director was the cellist and conductor, People's Artist of Russia, Professor Sergei Roldugin, former Head of the N. A. Rimsky-Korsakov Saint Petersburg State Conservatory State Conservatory (2003-2004). "The serious concert responsibility revive a successful creative activity of the young performer, since the live meeting with audience - as the best teacher- radically differs educational concert. from the public performance. At such performances young soloist appears not as a student who tries his hands, but as a professional who offers creative events" - says Sergey Roldugin.
St. Petersburg Music House offers to participants of its programs, united under the general title "Higher Music Performance Courses", performances at the best Concert Venues, training at the Master Classes of Outstanding Masters, gain experience playing with a Symphony Orchestra.. All these possibilities are absolutely free for young musicians. Philanthropists cover the significant cost items of the youth projects at the St. Petersburg Music House.
Over a period of 2006-2015 have been organized 850 concerts. These programs covered 1850 performances on major Stages of Russia - Mariinsky Theatre Concert Hall, St. Petersburg and Moscow Philharmonic Hall, Federal Kavminvod Philharmonic Hall, Sverdlovsk Philharmonic Hall (Yekaterinburg), Volga Philharmonic Halls; the Best St. Petersburg Venues - Beloselsky-Belozersky Palace, Chappella; abroad - Russian Science and Cultural Centers, Concert halls Musikaliska in Stockholm and Brucknerhaus in Linz.
Listeners are already familiar with the names of Concerts Series: "Young Interpreters of Russia", "Musical Team of Russia", "NEXT Generation", "Music of Stars", "River of Talents", "Russian Tuesdays", "Russian Thursdays", "Embassy of Musical Mastery".
Over the years, audiences met with both solists that began their careers and are preparing for international competitions, as well as with the winners of prestigious competitions and young stars of Russia, whose names are well-known in Russia and abroad. Over these years, the Music House perfromances of young solists attended more than 243 thousands of listeners.
The most notable was the year 2015. It had rеcord bumber of performances – 191 concerts that visited 45 thousand listeners.
On the concert stages of Northern Capital were organized 43 concerts, 30 of themх ""Evenings in the English Hall" on Music House own stage at Alexeyev Palace, 122 Moika River Emb.
Within the Projects "Musical Team of Russia", "NEXT Generation" and"Stars of the XXI Century" Music House soloists played in the cities of Russia and Kazakhstan.
Significantly expanded its geography Project "Embassy of Musical Mastery", held in conjunction with the "Rossotrudnichestvo" at the Russian Science and Cultural Centers abroad - 85 concerts in 32 countries around the world - in Europe, Asia, Africa, North and South America were performed by 46 young soloists. That series continue "Russian Tuesdays" at the Austrian Bruckner House and "Russian Thursdays" in Stockholm.
In 2015, Alexeyev Palace hosts for the ninth time the young musicians - participants in the Annual All-Russian Project for Students of Conservatories "River of Talents". 12 country regions were represented by 42 young soloist, 19 of them went to the finals, performing with Symphony Oorchestras in the towns of the Volga Region.
From June 2015, the future Music House soloists will be trained at Educational Center "SIRIUS" in Sochi, created by the initiative of Russian President Vladimir Putin at the Olympic Venue Facilities. Talented young musicians aged 12-16 will have a unique opportunity to pass selection conducted by the Music House, attend the month-shifts and participate in Master Classes with leading teachers and artists of Russia.
A special highlight for the Music House were the results of XV Tchaikovsky International Competition, wherein attended 19 Music House solists. Five active program participants became Laureates of the Contest: II Prize was awarded to Alexander Ranma (cello) and Lucas Geniušas (piano). III Prize was awarded to Pavel Milyukov (violin), Sergei Redkin (piano) and Alexander Buzlov (cello). Before competition, they received a special support participating in the Concert Programs of "Musical Team of Russia", Master Classes and tour performances, wherein they prepared their competitive programs.
Pianist Dmitry Masleev (I Prize) and violinist Haik Kazazyan (III Prize) also participated in the programs of the Music House over previous years. Jury encouraged Fedor Amosov (cello) with Special Prize "The Best Participant of the Second Round" and Anna Odintsov (piano) with Prize "The Best Accompanist".
