On March 8 the Laureate of Tchaikovsky International Competition will perform in Brucknerhaus
March 8, Tuesday, 7.30 pm St Petersburg Music House and Brucknerhaus invite in Linz to Concert under the Joint Project "Russian Tuesday". On the International Women's Day for the Austrian public will perfrom the Winner of International Tchaikovsky Competition (2015) violinist Pavel Milyukov. Piano pieces will perform the III Prize Winner of International Tchaikovsky Competition (2015) Sergey Redkin.
The audience will enjoy in the Evening of Sonatas. You will hear the Beethoven's Fourth Violin Sonata, dedicated to the patron Count Moritz von Fries. Unlike other composer's sonatas, the Fourth just win the critics and continues to be a popular piece for violin repertoire.
The Brahms` First Sonate will touch the sad theme of youth and death. It is characterized by an extraordinary insight and dedicated to the sad event - the death of Robert Schumann`s son, who was a friend of Brahms.
Norwegian Romanticism of Edvard Grieg sounds in his Third Violin Sonata, and this composer called it the favorite among all the sonatas.
Pavel Milyukov (31 years old). Born in Perm. Graduate of the Moscow Conservatory (class of Professor Vladimir Ivanov). Student of Vienna Conservatory (class of Professor Boris Kushnir). Laureate of the International Competitions: «Kloster Shontal» (Germany), Saratstsi (Greece), Canetti (Hungary), Yampolsky (Moscow), Paganini (Moscow), David Oistrakh (Moscow), International Violin Competition in Astana (Kazakhstan, 2008). In recent years, he was the Winner of All-Russia Music Competition (Moscow, 2010), the Laureate of International Violin Competition in Seoul (South Korea, 2012), the Winner of Aram Khachatryan Competition (Armenia, 2012), the III Prize Winner of International Tchaikovsky Competition. (Moscow, 2015). The Member of St. Petersburg Music House Program since 2007, Soloist of the Moscow Philharmonia since 2012.
On March 13, Pavel Milyukov will again perform in Bruknehause with the Moravian Philharmonic Orchestra playing the Saint-Saens` Third Violin Concerto.

"Russian Tuesdays" — a joint project of the St Petersburg Music House and Concert Center Brucknerhaus, named in honor of the eminent Austrian composer Anton Bruckner.
St. Petersburg Music House is the federal cultural institution, established in 2006 to prepare young Russian musicians for international competitions and festivals, occupies The Palace of Grand Duke Alexis Romanov at 122 Moika River Bank.
Artistic director is famous cellist, People's Artist of Russia, professor Sergei Roldugin. 2015/2016 Season for Music House is Anniversary Year. It will celebrate 10 Years on February 3, 2016.
