Moscow City Day will be celebrated in Bratislava with concert of young musicians
September 6, Tuesday at 5.00 p.m. St. Petersburg Music House and Rossotrudnichestvo invite to a concert of series "Embassy of Musical Mastery" dedicated to the Moscow City Day. In the honor of 869th Anniversary of the Russian capital laureates of international competitions Aylen Pritchin (violin) and Elizaveta Ivanova (piano) will perform. Two young musicians are students of famed masters of Moscow performing school: violinist Eduard Grach and pianist Sergei Dorensky.
Program - Classical Baroque, Romantic sonatas: pieces of Scarlatti, Mozart and Schumann. Festive mood will be emphasized Debussy`s Preludes - mystical Canopus ("ritual vessel") and colorful Fireworks, three diverse Preludes of Switzer Frank Martin. The Russian part of the program will present two of six famous Rachmaninoff``s "Musical Moments", First - soft and quiet, and Forth – bright and intensive. Festive atmosphere will emphasize violin arrangement Saint-Saens` Etude in the form of a waltz, which was made by the composer's friend, Belgian virtuoso Eugène Ysaÿe.
Aylen Pritchin (28 years old). Born in Leningrad. Graduate of the Moscow Conservatory. Assistant in the class of People's Artist of Russia, professor Eduard Grach. Accompanist of "Moscovia" Chamber Orchestra. The winner of Marguerite Long Jacques Thibaud International Competition (France 2014). The Member of St. Petersburg Music House Program since 2011.
Elizaveta Ivanova (29 years old). Born in Moscow. Post-Graduate Student of the Moscow Conservatory (Professor Tatiana Zenaishvili), Master`s Student of the Higher School of Music and Theater in Hamburg (Class of Professor Evgeny Korolev). The Laureate of International Competition "Blüthner 'Golden Tone' Award" (Austria 2013). The Winner of International Competition Euregio Piano Award 2015 (Germany, 2015). The laureate of International Competition of Pianists ClaviCologne NRW (Germany, 2016). Participant of St. Petersburg Music House program since 2009.

"Embassy of Musical Mastery" is a unique project of the St. Petersburg Music House and "Rossotrudnichestvo", which takes place since 2012 and includes the creative meetings of leading Russian musicians, as well as tours of the young soloists at the Russian Science and Cultural Centers abroad.
