St. Petersburg Music House Soloist will perform in Linz
February 7, Tuesday at 7.30 p.m., in Linz will be held again "Russian Tuesdays". This time the St. Petersburg Music House invites to Brucknerhaus for the recital of the young pianist, the laureate of XV International Tchaikovsky Competition Sergei Redkin.
Program of this young virtuoso covers the deep philosophical pieces: grandiose Bach`s Toccata and Fugue in D Minor, lyrical Beethoven`s Thirtieth Sonata and Prokofiev's Second Piano Sonata, written 105 years ago and considered to be one of his best works.
Especially for citizens of Linz will sound Toccata of their countryman Baldwin Sulzer, composer and the Catholic priest who will celebrate his 85th birthday on March 15.
Sergei Redkin (25 years old) was born in Krasnoyarsk. Postgraduate Student of the St. Petersburg Conservatory (Class of Honored Artist of Russia, Professor Alexander Sandler). The Winner of Tchaikovsky International Competition (Finland, 2012) and Prokofiev International Competition (St. Petersburg, 2013). The Laureate of Tchaikovsky International Competition (Moscow, 2015). Member of St. Petersburg Music House Program since 2008.

"Russian Tuesdays" — a joint project of the St Petersburg Music House and Concert Center Brucknerhaus, named in honor of the eminent Austrian composer Anton Bruckner. The next Concert of Music House solists will be held in Brucknerhaus on March 14, 2017, Austrian music fans will wait for soloists of the Music House and Moscow Philharmonic Pavel Milyukov (violin) and Philipp Kopachevsky (piano).
