September 15, Sunday, at 7.00 p.m., the St. Petersburg Music House welcomes you to the opening of its 14th concert season at the St Petersburg State Capella (Moika 20). The “Musical Team of Russia” will present the soloists of the Music House, who vividly declared themselves at the 16th International Tchaikovsky competition (June, 2019). Ravil Islyamov (violin) and Philipp Kopachevskiy (piano) will play the legendary classics: The Sibelius’ Violin Concerto and the Piano Concerto No. 2 by Sergei Rachmaninoff.

September 18, Wednesday, at 7 p.m., a symphonic concert will be held in the Mirror Hall of the Beloselsky-Belozersky Palace (Nevsky 41) under the title “Young Performers of Russia:  The names of the 16th Tchaikovsky Competition.” The performance will include the first prize awardee Alexey Lobikov (trombone), the third prize awardee Alexey Melnikov (piano) and the “Best  participant of the second stage of the contest” Fedor Amosov (cello). Program: Boccherini, Beethoven, Grøndahl, Copland.

September 27, Friday, at 7.00 p.m., the Music House (Moika 122) welcomes you for a recital of the winner of the Youth Delphic Games of Russia (2019) Elizaveta Ukrainskaya (piano) that will be carried out in the framework of the “Evenings in the English Hall”. The program includes exquisite masterpieces by Haydn, Scarlatti, Liszt, unusual Etudes by Saint-Saens and Blumenfeld. The highlight of the evening will be the Mussorgsky's unique piano cycle “Pictures from the Exhibition”.

On September 10–13, the 13th season of the project “River of  Talents” will start in St. Petersburg Music House, including individual workshops that will be held these four days. This year, 50 young soloists, students and graduates of musical educational institutions, will participate. There will be workshops in piano, winds, strings and percussion instruments.
Some workshops will traditionally be open to the public.

“The River of Talents” was established  in 2007. The project includes workshops in St. Petersburg, in which the most successful soloists are selected to perform with orchestra at philharmonicсs of the Volga Region.  All participants are preparing for prestigious international competitions in which they will need to play with orchestra.
 
September 23, 24, 25, from 11.00 a.m. to 4.00 p.m., public workshops will be carried out in the framework of “Higher Music Performance Courses” in the English Hall of the Music House (Moyka 122). A legend of the Russian Piano School, People's Artist of Russia, Professor Dmitry Bashkirov will share his secrets of mastery with young pianists.  Tutors and students of music schools are welcome.
Inquiries for active participation will be accepted before 2 p.m. (Moscow time), September 17, 2019.

September 3, 5, 17, 26, at 4.00 p.m. and September 19, at 2.00 p.m., regular excursions (Tu, Th) will be arranged around the grand interiors of the Alekseevsky Palace (Music House) - the residence of Grand Duke Alexei Alexandrovich Romanov, the younger brother of Emperor Alexander III and beloved uncle of the last Tsar Nicholas II.

September 17, Tuesday, at 7.00 p.m., the Russian Center for Science and Culture in Paris will host the "Embassy of Musical Mastery". This time, the capital of France will host the winner of the International Krusell Competition (2017) Elizaveta Ivanova (flute) and the winner of the Youth Delphic Games of Russia (2019) Elizaveta Ukrainskaya (piano).

September 19, Thursday, at 5.00 p.m., a chamber concert of the "Embassy of Musical Mastery" will be held in Bratislava. The winner of the International Northern Rhapsody Competition (2018) Anna Shchulkina (flute) and the winner of the International Chopin Competition (2016) Aleksandr Bolotin (piano) will perform at the Russian Center for Science and Culture.

September 19 and 20, Thursday and Friday, the "Embassy of Musical Mastery" will be on tour in Moldova. The Music House welcomes to the performances of its soloists with symphony orchestras in Chisinau and Tiraspol. The laureate of the III All-Russian Music Competition Vasiliy Stepanov (cello) and the laureate of the International Busoni Competition for Pianists (2017) Anna Geniushene (piano) will perform at the National Philharmonic “S. Lunchevici” in Chisinau, on September 19, and at the Palace of the Republic in Tiraspol on September 20.

September 19, Thursday, at 6.30 p.m., for the first time since 2017, the "Embassy of Musical Mastery" will perform in Bulgaria. The Russian Cultural and Information Center in Sofia will host Alexey Vovchenko, the laureate of the Ghent International Clarinet Competition (2017) and the diploma winner of the International Khachaturian Competition (2019) Anna Grot (piano).

September 20, Friday, at 6.00 p.m., the "Embassy of Musical Mastery" will be connecting Russia and Kyrgyzstan again. For the first time since 2015, the young Music House soloists will tour in Bishkek. Their performance is dedicated to World Peace Day and features Anna Savkina, a laureate of the International Violin Competition in Sendai (2016), and Alexei Kuznetsov, the winner of the International Piano Competition “Russian Season in Yekaterinburg” (2018).
