Georgy Akimov was born in Moscow in 2004. In 2019, he graduated from the Children's Music School of the Academic Music College at the Moscow State Conservatory, where he studied under the guidance of Valery Barkov. Currently, he is a student at the Academic Music College of the Moscow State Conservatory named after P.I. Tchaikovsky, studying under the same teacher. During his time at the Children's Music School, he became a winner and laureate of several prestigious youth competitions.

- Laureate of the 2nd Prize at the 13th International Young Gnessin Competition (Moscow).
- Laureate of the 2nd prize of the IV International Competition "Drum Time" (Saint Petersburg)
- Laureate of the 2nd prize of the X International Competition "Drum Wave" (Saint Petersburg)
Georgy Akimov has also participated in creative sessions at the Sirius Educational Center and has attended master classes by Nebojsa Jovan Zivkovic and Anatoly Tekuchev.
Since 2023, he has been a participant in programs at the St. Petersburg Music House.
